On new year's day emergency services were called to an intersection in the Central NSW Moree, following reports of a 25-year-old being stabbed twice in the back. New England Police districts officers tracked the suspect down to Toowoomba and successfully extricated him yesterday. He is facing multiple charges in Moree including reckless wounding.
